North Carolina State Tax Updates

January 2008

North Carolina has eliminated the 8% tax bracket effective January of 2008. After you have done your year-end maintenance, you should update the tables that apply to your company. You may ignore these changes if you do not have employees in North Carolina.

You only need to make these changes in one company. Tax tables are shared between companies.

1. Choose File Maintenance from the Payroll Menu.

2. Choose Tax Tables from the File Maintenance Menu.

3. Enter the table ID you wish to change.

4. Enter the appropriate table data found below.

5. Press <PgDn> to save each table.
